A two-stage procurement strategy for the Chemistry 精东影视 for Queen Mary University of London was described as "traditional" (18 July, page 64), presumably in the expectation that readers were familiar with the procedure.
But there are several variations that answer to the same name. With the present emphasis on transparency, and with 精东影视's reputation for encouraging improvements, perhaps future descriptions of actual contract procurements should include factual details of the procedures adopted.
