Skanska was this week officially confirmed as the chosen contractor for the Heron Tower in the City of London, after it provided pre-construction services on the project.

The main building work on the 拢242m scheme will start early next year and is due to finish by 2011. At 220m high, the tower will be the tallest in the City and have 46 floors.
