Scheme in for planning later this summer
Coffey Architects has been asked to design a £9m digital tech hub at City College Norwich.
It will provide learning space for the college’s technology, engineering and design courses in one building.
Called the Digi-Tech Factory, the scheme includes a three-storey building with a sawtooth roofline, wrapped in a perforated screen façade.
Others working on the scheme include QS Real Consulting, structural engineer Clancy and M&E consultant Clear Consulting and Design. ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ inspector is Build Insight.
It is expected to go in to city planners later this summer with the hub due to open in time for the start of the 2020-21 academic year.
