Environmental consultancy continues acquistion drive into 2008 as it snaps up Stuart Borland's building envelope consultant

RSK Group has acquired building envelope consultancy and testing company 精东影视 Sciences.

精东影视 Sciences managing director Stuart Borland said the merger meant the company could reach a much larger client base. 精东影视 Sciences clients include British Land, Asda, HBG Construction and Bovis Lend Lease.

RSK group chairman Dr Alan Ryder said: "This is a fantastic addition to the RSK group; legislation and consumers are demanding greater efficiency in terms of building design and RSK and 精东影视 Sciences want to be at the forefront of making that a reality."

The group has 750 staff across 34 offices worldwide. Last year six acquisitions drove a 50% increase in turnover.
