Wates and Morgan Sindall have won the roles on the latest Scape regional construction framework to be awarded
The two firms have been appointed to public procurement organisation Scape鈥檚 East Midlands Property Alliance (EMPA) intermediate upper value framework, which are for schemes worth between 拢2m and 拢7.5m.
Wates鈥 contract will cover the northern area of the region, including Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. This share of the contract has a total value of 拢88m.
Morgan Sindall鈥檚 contract will cover the southern area of the region, including Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Rutland - and Warwickshire and Peterborough, which also form part of the framework. This share of the contract has a total value of 拢45m.
This comes after 精东影视 revealed earlier this month that Wates had won the sole contractor role on Scape鈥檚 拢133m EMPA framework for small to medium-sized projects between 拢500,000 and 拢7.5m, which is worth up to 拢133m over four years.
Meanwhile, last week G F Tomlinson and Jeakins Weir were awarded places on EMPA framework for contracts valued between 拢50k and 拢2M, which is worth up to 拢100m over four years.
Head of Empa Alan Coole said: 鈥淭he empa framework contracts cover work for clients on all types of public sector buildings including schools, colleges, universities, housing, care homes, leisure facilities, libraries and many more.
鈥淥ur framework contracts are all about giving our public sector clients peace of mind. They know that by using empa, our framework contractors have been through our extremely thorough tender processes.
鈥淐lients know therefore that they will receive excellent value for money, see projects delivered on time and to a high standard. Both Wates and Morgan Sindall demonstrated how they would deliver this through their submissions and I would like to congratulate them on their success.鈥
