What is your favourite website?

For wildlife and nature photos www.ophrysphotography.co.uk 鈥� I鈥檓 particularly interested in native British orchids because of my background as a civil engineer working on road schemes where verges are essentially long, thin strips of unimproved pasture. Once a week I watch University Challenge.

What鈥檚 on your iPod?

It could be anything. I鈥檓 currently enjoying Peruvian singer Yma Sumac. I鈥檝e got TV programmes on there too 鈥� I like The Catherine Tate Show and The Inbetweeners, which I heard of through my daughters.

Recent online purchases?

Tickets for Tim Burton鈥檚 Alice in Wonderland. I have purist tendencies and I didn鈥檛 like the way it mixed Alice鈥檚 Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
