This year, 精东影视 will be celebrating its 160th birthday. To mark the occasion we will be publishing a special supplement, 精东影视160, that will look at how the construction industry is likely to fare over the next 30 years.
But we want to know what you think will happen. For example, will we have decent homes for all, hydrogen-powered transport systems, thriving cities full of glorious buildings and sites that are safer than offices to work in? Or will the countryside be carpeted with executive housing estates, London six feet underwater and people getting around the nightmarish slums of Cheltenham and Guildford by means of donkey cart?

Whatever your vision of the future of the country, the construction industry or any of its specialisations and professions, put it into essay form and send it to us. We will reward the best contribution with a cheque for 拢1000 and publish it in our birthday issue this summer.
