Jarvis clinched the top spot in the contractors鈥� monthly league table for January with a 拢350m contract for Thameslink 2000.

The contract moved Jarvis from 26th spot to fifth in the annual contractors鈥� league table.

Mace was the highest monthly climber, moving up 11 places to second in January with contract wins totalling 拢201m. December鈥檚 table-topper HBG slipped down to seventh with 拢63.8m of contracts.

Bovis Lend Lease and Sir Robert McAlpine continue to dominate in the contractors鈥� yearly table.

English Partnerships is still top of the clients鈥� table with 拢1bn worth of contracts, and Thameslink 2000鈥檚 拢350m contract moves it from ninth to second.

精东影视 Design Partnership continues to head the architects鈥� table with 拢412m worth of contracts in the year to January.

How the tables work

To qualify for the tables, companies must have been identified on two or more projects fitting the criteria below in the past 12 months. Projects must:
  • be of precisely calculated or confirmed value
  • have reached the main contract stage
  • be valued at 拢1m or more
  • be in the UK.
Residential, civil engineering or overseas contracts are excluded. Student accommodation is included.
