Five wins worth 拢158m take company to top of monthly table and extend its lead over the year.
Bovis Lend Lease had a pretty good August. Not only did it sign contracts worth twice as much as its nearest rival, but it extended its lead over Australian firm Multiplex in the annual league.
Bovis' five contract wins, worth a total of 拢158m, included a chunky 拢100m civil justice centre in Greater Manchester and a 拢20m hospital ward extension in Burnley, Lancashire.
On the client side, the Department of Health was number one again, dishing out 160 contracts to add to the 161 they awarded in July.
It was pretty much as you were in the quantity surveyor and architect leagues, both having their top three positions filled by the same players as last month.
