Despite its troubles this week, Ballast was in second place thanks to £87m of work from three contracts, and Bowmer & Kirkland made it into third spot with contracts worth £75.3m.
There was no change at the top of the yearly table, with Sir Robert McAlpine and Bovis Lend Lease holding on to first and second places. And the architects and clients tables were similarly static: HOK stayed at the top of the first and the Ministry of Defence was again the premier client.
How the tables work
To qualify for the tables, companies must have been identified on two or more projects fitting the criteria below in the past 12 months. Projects must:- be of precisely calculated or confirmed value
- have reached the main contract stage
- be valued at £1m or more
- be in the UK.
