The largest contract was a £24m retail park for developer Chartwell Land in Manchester.
Unusually, Bovis Lend Lease was nowhere to be seen in the monthly chart. Laing, January's frontrunner, also sank without a trace in February.
The poor month meant little to Bovis Lend Lease's yearly position, where it remains about £600m ahead of Skanska. Laing, however, slipped from 7th to 13th.
It was a case of déjà vu in the architect, client and QS charts, with HOK International, the Department of Health and Davis Langdon & Everest retaining their leads.
