拢38m Ministry of Defence college and Tyneside office block help support services firm beat off Carillion.
Interserve beat Carillion and regional contractor ROK to the top spot in the league table for March, thanks to deals worth more than 拢87m.

Its top projects were a 拢45m office development in Newcastle upon Tyne and a 拢38m contract for a Ministry of Defence college in Loughborough.

For the second month running, Bovis Lend Lease was conspicuous by its absence from the monthly charts, although it was still about 拢600m ahead of Skanska in the yearly league table.

The usual suspects (HOK International, the Department of Health and Davis Langdon & Everest) continued to dominate the charts in the architects, clients and QS tables. The only notable mover was architectural practice Watkins Gray, which sneaked up the table from 10th to seventh.

  • To qualify, firms must have been identified on two or more projects fitting the following criteria in the past 12 months. Project must: be of precisely calculated or confirmed value; have reached the main contract award stage; be valued at 拢1m or more; be in the UK. Residential, civil engineering or overseas contracts are excluded. Student accommodation is included.
