British architects Feix & Merlin and Karim Muallem make list of five
Five up-and-coming architects have been shortlisted to design a semi-permanent pavilion for Marks Barfield鈥檚 Lightbox gallery in Woking.

British architects Feix & Merlin and Karim Muallem have been shortlisted for the Art Fund Pavilion alongside French practice IN & EDIT, Greek architects AREA and American architects Tina Manis Associates.

The winning entry, due to be announced on 6 April, will be engineered and constructed by Facit, a company that specialises in advanced pre-fabrication and computer design techniqes.

The competition has been run by East London design festival Tent London in association with the Architecture Foundation.

The winning pavilion will be displayed at Tent London before taking up residency at gallery.
