Arup and Ridge among firms appointed to four-year framework

Arup, Ridge and Partners and WYG are among the firms appointed to the new four-year Fire Safety Consultancy Framework Agreement, which has been set up by social housing framework operator Procurement for Housing.

The 拢50m framework鈥檚 first lot is for all four types of fire risk assessment and is valued at 拢20m.

Services on the 拢10m second lot include compliance, policy and strategy reviews, fire safety training, advice on legislative requirements, project management services and advice following fire risk assessments.

The third lot, valued at 拢20m, is for M&E engineering services, design of fire suppression systems and project management.

The framework will be open to housing associations and all public sector bodies including local authorities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Awards for a similar framework for Scotland are due to be announced in the coming days.
