Lime Technology鈥檚 pre-fabricated wall panel system has a low U-value

Lime Technology鈥檚 pre-fabricated wall panel system, Hemclad, was used at Kanes Foods鈥� new 10,000m2 factory in Middle Littleton. The 3,500m2 application onto the building鈥檚 steel frame took about 15 to 20 minutes for each individual Hemclad panel. The panels are timber cassettes filled with Tradical Hemcrete (an insulating material made from a lime-based binder and hemp shiv) and Breathe, a hemp and flax fibre insulation produced by Hemp Technology, a division of Lime Technology, to create a panel with a low U-value.
