Firm to build Merseyside HQ and Midlands control centre
Willmott Dixon has secured two jobs with a combined £45m value building facilities for the police.
The family-owned contractor is set to build a new headquarters for Merseyside Police in Liverpool (pictured), a four-storey building with office space for up 1,175 people.
Willmott Dixon will also deliver a new a new control suite for West Midlands Police in Perry Barr, Birmingham.
The firm will start by demolishing a firearms store building, before replacing it with a four-storey command and control unit.
Both jobs were procured through Scape frameworks, with Willmott Dixon having delivered jobs worth more than £150m for emergency services in the last two years.
The appointment follows another contract win — worth £40m — to revamp a London South Bank University campus.
